Chicago Seminar Wrap

Wow! What a trip! Christian and I left Pittsburgh Monday and arrived in Chicago that evening. We stayed in a neat old hotel (the Carlton) in Oak Park. I can recommend the hotel if you are fond of faded elegance of days gone by and good food. We installed Dr. Ouda's new PulStar in downtown Chicago on Tuesday morning and set up a demonstration in Oak Park that afternoon. On Wednesday, we demoed and walked past 14 Frank Lloyd Wright homes before leaving for Detroit.

They must have moved Detroit during the night because it took 8 hours of driving instead of the expected 4 (turned out that Gary Indiana was flooded). Detroit was fun as we got to see and update Dan Collins and Jennifer Westcott and coordinate their Chicago presentations with ours. We stayed at the Dearborn Inn, an old hotel built by Henry Ford and one of the elegant places to stay in Detroit and visited the Ford Museum which is outrageous. Everything and anything shoved into a huge space with very little organization but great fun!

They moved Detroit back as it took only 4 hours on the return trip and we stayed at the Marriott on Michigan Ave. for the seminar. The seminar went well. Dan was great as usual and presented the basic PulStar protocol. There was about an even split between users and non users so we focused on the basics which is normal for these one day events. Jennifer led the small group practicum and everyone seemed to get quite a bit from the presentations. Tom Kenny, the president of Williams Health Care, showed up and introduced himself to the attendees. Tom handles our overseas sales which are growing nicely.

The November seminar will be hosted by Dr. Steve Savoie in Clermont FL which is close to Orlando. This seminar will also focus on the basics. The next advanced seminar will be held in Pittsburgh in April. See you there!
